This privacy policy explains what data we collect when you order from L'Aurore or visit our website, why we do so and what rights you have.

Who is responsible for your data?

2. What we use this data for

We use your data to process your order and keep you informed, to comply with our legal and administrative obligations, to communicate with you, and to secure and improve our webshop. If you have given your consent, we also use your data to inform you about products, offers and promotions, and to make our marketing more personal. We only share data with third parties if you have given your consent, or if we are legally required to do so.

3. Retention period

We do not keep your data for longer than necessary for the purposes above, unless we are legally required to keep it longer (for example for our tax records).

4. Sharing with third parties

We only share data with parties we need to run our webshop, such as our payment provider and delivery service, and with our bookkeeping. We never sell your data to third parties.

To send order updates and, with your consent, marketing emails, we also use Klaviyo, our email marketing platform.

With your consent, we also use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API (Facebook and Instagram) to measure and improve our advertising. Meta then receives data about your behaviour on our website, such as which pages you view or whether you place an order.

With your consent, we use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our website, for example where you click and how far you scroll, through heatmaps and session recordings. Microsoft processes this data on our behalf. We only use it to improve the website.

5. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or — where legally permitted — deleted, and you can object to its processing. If you want to exercise these rights, please contact our customer service.
